Good quality food and service

We were blown away by the consistent quality of the food. Excellent service also. We stayed in Niseko for about 2 weeks and ordered from this place so many times. I did not taste something I didn’t think was excellent. Sometimes with Indian, not so fresh ingredients and oiliness can bring down the profile of an otherwise great recipe. But this was the opposite. My wife and I spend a lot of time in Asia and eat LOTS of Indian food, and this was one of the best tasted, anywhere. True compliments to the chefs and owners for running a great establishment.

Amazing breads, the masala tea was delicious. The staff were excellent. The food was much more sophisticated than I was expecting. The meat dishes were really tender and the vegetarian options were really good too. They do Tali as well. We went back again the same week. Highly recommended.

Part of the Taj Mahal restaurant chain with a good food selection, both vegetarian and regular. I'm not sure where other reviews got their price expectations from, but lunch menu sets run around 750 to 1000 Yen. For Niseko that's on the lower side of expectations. Our lunch set was a reasonable size for Japanese standards and tasted pretty authentic. The food selection is large and varied. I think their only drawback is the location ... outside Niseko village along the road to Annupuri but set back enough that you will almost miss it if you don't pay attention. We will certainly be back.

An absolute feast. Superbly delicious and authentic Indian cusine. We ordered a Thali set and an extra garlic naan to share. Food portions were huge. The naans were heavenly, and much bigger than expected. Such a surprise find around here! Lovely service! My husband says this is his best meal in Hokkaido, so it is saying a lot.

naan bread was great, unfortunately butter chiclen has 4 small pieces in it for entire meal, ask the waitress as assumed a misunderstanding and she said this was normal. bill for 2 butter chickens 2 rices and 1 naan was over $85AUD . nice staff and food is great otherwise.combo deal looked better value that ordering from menu

Great food! We missed our shuttle bus back to the hotel so we asked if the restaurant staff could help us call a cab, and the restaurant owner drove us back to our hotel instead. Will visit every time I come back to Niseko.

Delicious food, big size, good atmosphere and middle prices!

This is seriously very good Indian food. Have the sake (super-smooth) with the food - it’s sensational. There are 2 teams of Chefs - one from the South and one team from the North. Hello - the food is incredible. I highly recommend the chick pea masala and the seafood curry (it’s huge) was very, very good. The naan is so big it does not fit on your plate!! You can get gin n Soda’s and the fullselection. Super friendly staff, ENGLISH speaking (from Alabama). Love it. Make sure you put this on your Top list of dining out choices.

1st time we ordered by delivery at our hotel and the food was so good. We decided to went down to the place itself for a dine in experience. Indian food and drinks taste to its best! Its 100% halal. And the staff was nice & friendly. So we ended up coming there for our food. ❤ Highly recommended.

We enjoyed ourselves very much in this authentic North Indian restaurant. Their naan was freshly made and the curry was as authentic as it can get. This might be one of the best naan and curry we’ve had!

Great authentic indian food with great service. My husband and I were surprised to find a halal restaurant here in Annupuri Niseko. Tasty food and good service. Owner fetched us to and fro from our hotel to the restaurant.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever eaten at, and I've eaten a lot of Indian meals!! I was there for the skiing, which is awesome, but no joke...I'd travel to Niseko just for this food. The Taj Mahal's take on their Peshawari Naan is inspired...delicious!!We were initially disappointed with the portion sizes, but the food went further than expected and the quality compensated. All food in Niseko is pricier than you'd want, but I was happy with price of the meal, just be prepared to order a couple extra portions than normal if you're in a larger group.

Food was absolutely delicious, hours are good and they were open when there was pretty bad snow falling which I appreciated. Staff speaks English well and Japanese. The lunch menu is pretty cheap but the dinner menu is a little pricey but reasonable considering it's in a ski resort area.

Pre-made curry, servings smaller than Kutchan branch, Kutchan branch much better taste and worth the drive.

Brilliant curries and the naan bread is perfectly crispy on the underside! The owners are lovely people are work hard to accommodate you. Absolutely well worth the walk!

Never have I had worse Indian in my life. Portion size is suitable for a 3 year old child. The price is through the roof for the snack that you receive. The authenticity of the food is fairly questionable.If I could give less then 1 star I definitely would.

While I believe a lot of the reviews on this are from the owner, the restaurant was pretty good nonetheless and service was amazing.

Food was fairly tasty but not spicy at all when requested Hot. Prawn curry was good but the lamb rogan josh literally had 4 or 5 pieces of lamb in a large pot of sauce. Rice was rice and naan was naan. For good quality and generous portions i would have happily paid this price but unfortunately for what it was i would say its overpriced. No issues with staff or management, all lovely.

Good quality Indian food in Japan. The waiters were patient in giving recommendations, and the restaurant was flexible in accomodating their offerings for a vegan diet.

Fabulous biryani and food. I liked everything and every bit. Must try. Prawns biryani was heaven.

Delicious food and generous portions. Our group had a vegetarian and a celiac sufferer, and we both were able to find food to eat, which was much needed. Ended up coming here 2 times during our trip because we loved it so much.
